Simon Snyder grew up in Guysborough County.  He attended the Truro Youth Training Centre from 1970-1977.  He understands the importance of people with intellectual disabilities having independence and accessing their human rights.  Simon now lives independently in an apartment in Enfield, and is an active member of People First Nova Scotia, and serves on the Inclusion NS Board of Directors.
